All Tamil-speaking people in Tamil Nadu are not Tamil castes or whatever you cal "Thamizhar". Especially, Parayar (including Valluva Parayar), Pallar or Thevendrar, Kuravar and all 100 plus sections published in the Tamil Gazette as Scheduled Castes are not Tamils but they are Untouchables or Ex-Untouchables. As far as your allegation on Arunthathiyar, they are Tamils because they speak Telugu. Neither Arunthathiyar (Sakkiliyar) nor Parayar and other above said sub-groups are Tamils but they originate from casteless Buddhist communities of ancient and medieval times. They became Untouchables when they were forced to become the slaves of caste hindus particularly after the hindu rulers Cholas who didn't prefer Tamil as court language until Veera Rajendra Cholan came to power in 11th century AD. Pali and Sanskrit were the court languages of Cholas, Pallavas and Kalaparayars, the pre-Chola-Pallava rulers.
Moreover, You have to read the leader of Sudras of Tamil country, E.V.Ramasamy's continuous statements and struggle to establish that only Tamil-speaking caste hindu - Sudra is the only Tamils. The following statements published in different magazines and publications that E.V.Ramasamy published:
"திராவிடனே, அல்லது தமிழனே, அதாவது பார்ப்பானல்லாத, முஸ்லீமல்லாத, கிறிஸ்துவனல்லாத, ஆதி-திராவிடன் (ஷெட்யூல்டு வகுப்பார்) அல்லாத சூத்திரனே!" Gopaalsamy (Vaiko) though he speaks Telugu at home with his Telugu-speaking kith and kins can claim that he is a "Veera Tamizhan" and never any of Dalit community. Dalit is always a non-Tamil had no any significant relationship with any Tamil caste hindu to claim any "Tamilhood". You have to understand the history. Dr. Ambedkar originated from Marathi-speaking family but he could never claim he was a Maraatah. Do you understand it Mr. Thirumugam? What Prof.Veeramani tried to say was your position in Tamil caste society. You are not accommodated or you can't accommodate yourself as Tamil caste on par with the actual caste Tamils. If you understand this, then you will surely search for your real history.
Your name is not Paraya or Valluva Paraya, Palla or Devendra or Sakkiliya or Arunthathiya or Kurava or any other derogative title you carry now as your name. If you find your history as I rediscovered my history, you will find your liberating path and you will never identify I that you belong to particular lingo-ethnic group. Don't imitate any sort of sanskritization to dub your identity as Tamil or Thamizhar and that's a fake identity. The real identity is that you are one among the hundreds of casteless communities still awaiting their liberation from all kinds of caste identity to reclaim their human personality like any dignified people in the world.
