Respected Sir,
Letter of Invitation
Nikhil Bharat Bangali Udbastu Samanway Samiti (NiBBUSS) is a national organization to echo the voice of more than 3.5 crores of displaced Bengali refugees from East Pakistan/Bangladesh, settled in about 18 states of India. Partition of the country on the basis of religion resulted in communal riots in East Pakistan and displaced millions of families from our ancestral properties to take refuge in India as per the conditions of partition. It is to be remembered here that there was an open invitation and promises by the then national leaders too. We were residing in our place of resettlement with extreme difficulties but without uttering a word about our several discontents.
However, enactment of The Citizenship Amendment Act, 2003 has created havoc in our lives and compelled us to raise our voice across the country to prove our identity and nationality. Towards this, NiBBUSS has planned to organize a day-long convention of NiBBUSS representatives on 29.8.2012 at Mavalankar Auditorium, Vittalbhai Patel House, Rafi Marg, New Delhi-110011 wherein more than 1000 representatives from all 18 states would participate. Our major demands include-
-
Amendment to The Citizenship Amendment Act, 2003
-
Cast Reservation to communities in all other states at par with West Bengal.
We strongly believe that you being our well-wisher, only you can help us to get these issues addressed by taking it up at appropriate level; therefore, we invite you to this convention to assure our representatives that you would also put step with us in our journey of proving our identity and nationality.
Anticipating your gracious presence and valued advice ….
With regards
Truly yours
For NIBBUSS
Dr Subodh Biswas
National President
