Dear Madam/Sir, We are shocked to hear the news of tragic death of Master Aljin Varghese a young child studying in the Adarsh Public School Vikas Puri. It has been noticed that Unaided Public Schools are harassing, humiliating, torturing, insulting, and abusing the students in order to recover fees from their parents. Though these schools are having charitable character but in practice they are just teaching shops indulging in commercialization of Education. It may be noted that the Education is the only sector in this country where commercialization and profiteering is totally prohibited by law. In fact, the schools indulging in such activities have no moral or legal rights to continue. The Government, which has not only power but also duty to check commercialization of education, must take steps to take over the management of such schools. Therefore The Government must take over the management of schools Adarsh Public School Vikas Puri. -2- It is unfortunate that the police have yet not registered a case u/s 305 IPC (Abetment to suicide) in case of the death of master Aljin Varghese S/o P. V. Varghese. It appears that the police are reluctant to take any action against the school Authorities. We strongly condemn the said inaction on the part of Delhi Police. We therefore demand: 1. Police must register a case u/s 305 IPC etc. against the erring School Authorities. 2. Delhi Government must take over the management of Adarsh Public School Vikas Puri. SUB: Protest demonstration on 21st February 2011 from 10:00am to11:00am against the reluctance of Government of Delhi and Delhi Police to take action against the Adarsh Public School, Vikas Puri.

Dear Madam/Sir,

We are shocked to hear the news of tragic death of Master Aljin Varghese a young child studying in the Adarsh Public School Vikas Puri.

-2-

It is unfortunate that the police have yet not registered a case u/s 305 IPC (Abetment to suicide) in case of the death of master Aljin Varghese S/o P. V. Varghese. It appears that the police are reluctant to take any action against the school Authorities. We strongly condemn the said inaction on the part of Delhi Police.

We therefore demand:

1. Police must register a case u/s 305 IPC etc. against the erring School Authorities.

2. Delhi Government must take over the management of Adarsh Public School Vikas Puri.

All India Parents Association have decided to organize a demonstration on Monday 21stFebruary 2011 from 10:00am to 11:00am in front of Delhi Police Headquarter ITO New Delhi to protest against the reluctance of Government of Delhi and Delhi Police to take action against the Adarsh Public School Vikas Puri
